Near과 Nearby는 언제 사용할까?

"near"과 "nearby"는 비슷한 의미를 가지고 있지만, 사용하는 방법과 의미가 약간 다릅니다.

"near"는 일반적으로 어떤 지점이나 위치에 대해 사용됩니다. 이 단어는 어떤 것이 다른 것에 가깝다는 것을 나타내기 위해 사용됩니다.

My house is near the park. (내 집은 공원 근처에 있습니다.)
The grocery store is near the movie theater. (마트는 영화관 근처에 있습니다.)

"nearby"는 "near"와 비슷한 의미를 가지고 있지만, 보다 구체적인 범위를 나타내는 데 사용됩니다.

"nearby"는 "in the vicinity of" 또는 "close to"와 같은 뜻이며, 어떤 지점이나 위치 주변에 있는 것을 나타냅니다.

There's a coffee shop nearby. (주변에 커피숍이 있습니다.)
Are there any gas stations nearby? (근처에 주유소가 있나요?)

따라서, "near"와 "nearby"는 모두 위치에 대해 사용되는 단어이지만, "near"는 보다 일반적인 범위를 나타내는 데 사용되며, "nearby"는 보다 구체적인 범위를 나타내는 데 사용됩니다.
